Jeanette Williams

Jeanette Williams was born on July 23, 1920, and returned to the loving arms of Jesus on Feb. 9, 2012. She passed away at her home surrounded by family on Feb. 9, 2012. She was married to C. L. Williams, and together they built a thriving plumbing business and large, determined family that still carries on their values of hard work and honesty. She was the matriarch of the family, and spent her last day on earth surrounded by a large, loving family. She was predeceased by her parents, J.C. and Anna Mae Cox, her husband C.L. Williams, her son-in-law Jimmy Don Haynes, her 2 grandsons Jerry Lane Haynes and Nathan Albert Haynes, and her siblings Alwita Hardin, J.C. Cox, Erna Cuskaden, Pauline Cox. She is survived by her daughter Adelayde Haynes, her grandchildren, Donna and Paul Edwards, Jimmy and Susan Haynes, Jeannette and Paul Moore, her great grand children Lane and Natalie Sword (Shelby,Joseph,Madyson, and Reagan) , Amanda and Eric Perales (Chase, Gabriel, and Alexis), Larry and Elizabeth Sword (Josette and Ethan), and Lance Obediah Sword, James and Daniella Haynes (James and Lindsay), Sean Haynes, Mary Elizabeth Haynes (Kayden), Jesyka Thigpen, and D.J. and Amanda Pepper (Daniel). Family visitation is Monday, Feb. 13, from 5-8 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 1101 Antoine, and the funeral service will be in the Woodlawn Chapel and Cemetary at 2pm on Feb. 14, 2012. Pallbearers will be Lane Sword, Larry Sword, Lance Sword, James Haynes, Nathan Haynes, and Sean Haynes.
