Jeff Davis Dunbar, Jr., age 80, died on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas. Jeff was the son of Carrie Mae (Jennings) and Jeff Davis Dunbar, Sr.; he was born on December 6, 1930 in El Dorado, Arkansas. He graduated from El Dorado High school. Jeff proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1947 until 1950. Jeff was united in marriage to Bobbie Jean Askew on March 19, 1949. Jeff worked for the Cities Service Company as a Corrosion Engineer. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #438 Sunset in Shreveport, Louisiana, a Shriner – Akdar Temple in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Lowell, Arkansas since 2000. Jeff loved hunting and fishing. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. He is survived by his daughter Diana Bradberry, son Jeff Dewey Dunbar, grandchildren; Lisa Jones, Scott Arlan Snow and his wife Amy, great grandchildren Bobbie Ann Rife and Davis Dunbar Snow and sister Patricia Dailey of El Dorado, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Ellis Family Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma with Brother Ben Rowell officiating.
