GRILLS, Gordon Frederic – Passed away after a brief decline on Thursday, August 18, 2011 in his 98th year. Gordon was the beloved husband of the late Ellen Fowler (1991) in Valentia and Grace Smith (2007) in Little Britain. Dear father of Richard and his wife Linda of Stirling. Cherished grandfather of Lisa Brak and her husband Joe, and Andrew and his wife Jenny. Adored great grandfather of Cadence and Johann. Gordon is predeceased by his parents Norman in 1963 and Elleta (nee Western) in 1960; sister Lily (Lillian) Tremeer and her husband Sam, and brothers Lloyde, and Stewart and stepson Aubrey Smith. He is remembered by sisters-in-law Verna (Stewart) and Audrey (Lloyde). Gordon will be missed by step-daughter-in-law Joan Smith (Aubrey), step-grandson Grant Smith and his wife Pat and step-granddaughter Shelley. Visitation will be at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Monday August 22 from 12:00 p.m. until time of Funeral in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at South Valentia (Lakeside) Cemetery.
