Paul Barnette

Paul J. Barnette, 88, of Indialantic, passed away July 30, 2011. He was born in Homer, Louisiana on April 23, 1923 to Paul and Annie Barnette. Paul has been a resident of Brevard County since 1953. He served his country honorably as a Marine during WWII in the Pacific. He graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering from University of Arkansas and an MBA from Florida Institute of Technology. He worked for RCA, Pan Am and CSR at the Eastern Test Range for 39 years. Paul enjoyed scuba diving and gardening, and, after retirement, painting. Paul is survived by his wife of 55 years, Pat, children: Lynn (Stan) Starr of Indialantic, and their children, Maggie and Jack, and Peggy (Robert) Dennison of Lilburn, GA, and their children, Katie and Patty. He loved his wife and family above all. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Beach Funeral Homes, Indian Harbour Beach, at 11:00 am. Donations may be made in Paul’s name to the Humane Society of South Brevard, the local MS Society, or your charity of choice.
