Otho Delmar Reiman, 79, of Ava, Illinois, passed away at 12:42 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2011, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2011, at the United Community Church of Campbell Hill with Pastor Sam Higgerson officiating and burial at Mt. Joy Cemetery, near Murphysboro. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Pettett Funeral Home and from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to the United Community Church of Campbell Hill. Otho was born on July 14, 1931, in Murphysboro, Illinois, to Otho V. Reiman and Ione (Pierson) Reiman. He was a retired railroad lineman with the G. M. & O Railroad. Mr. Reiman was a member of the United Community Church of Campbell Hill. He married June Davis on August 11, 1951, in Murphysboro, and she survives. Other survivors include six children and their spouses: Sheila Reiman of Ava, Sue and Rick Fricke of Rockwood, Debbie and Danny Canady of Chester, David and Kathy Reiman of Cordova, TN, Sandy and Wade Stein and Patty and John McGough, all of Ava; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one infant son, one sister Dorothy Bilderback and his parents.
