John LeRoy Collins, 74, of Greeley, Colorado died Sunday, May 24, 2009 at his residence. He was born in Watson, Missouri to John Cleveland and Mary Margaret (Ozenbaugh) Collins. John grew up in Watson where he graduated from Watson High School in 1954. On May 7, 1955 he married Peggy Stephens in Hamburg, Iowa. John work at Kodak in Windsor, Colorado and retired in 1990. Survivors are his wife, Peggy Collins of Greeley; sons, John C. Collins and wife Annette of Summerville, SC, Tony A. Collins and wife Terry of Bath, ME; daughters, Janice S. Collins , Lori A. Collins and husband Jim Estal all of Greeley; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brothers, Ben Collins of Hamburg, IA and Everett Collins of Council Bluffs, IA. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bill and Jack Collins. Cremation. Inurnment in High Creek Cemetery, Watson, MO.
