Jeannette Ord

Jeannette L. Ord went to be with her Lord on April 26, 2009. Jeannette was born in Loveland, Colorado on May 14, 1940. She graduated from Johnstown High School in 1958. She married Jerry W. Ord of Greeley, Colorado in 1962. Jeannette and her husband Jerry were members of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Greeley, Colorado. Jeannette loved her family and was devoted to her husband, her daughters and grandsons. Jeannette enjoyed playing the piano, gardening and politics. She was active in the Republican Party over the years working on several state level campaigns and attended the Republican National Convention. Jeannette is survived by her husband Jerry W. Ord of Greeley; her daughters, Jonae G. Armstrong of Portland, Oregon, Justina L. Ord of San Diego, California; her parents, Sam and Lydia Boxberger of Longmont, Colorado; and four grandsons Chris Dunn, Brody Dunn, James Armstrong and David Armstrong. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, April 30, 2009 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 3000 35th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jeannette Ord Memorial Fund in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley.
