WARD- At Stratford General Hospital on Saturday December 18, 2010. Floyd Nelson Ward of Bonnie Brae Nursing Home and formerly of Woodstock in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Catherine “Cathy” Ward (nee Ramseyer). Dear father of Kevin (Brenda) of Hickson, Darryl (Carla Moore) of Stirling, and Patrick (Sue Zilke Ward) of Bobcaygeon. Loved grandfather of Melissa; Tasia; Robert and Sara. Also survived by his brother Clarence “Al” (Doris) Ward of London, and several nieces and nephews. Floyd was a past master of the Masonic Lodge #609, Tavistock, as well as a member of the Hickson Volunteer Firefighter Association for 20 years, where he also enjoyed coaching softball. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, (519-539-0004) Tuesday December 21st from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel Wednesday December 22nd 2010 at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow. If desired, contributions to the Hickson United Church, or the Hickson Volunteer Fire Department would be appreciated. Online condolences at www.longworthfuneralhome.com. A Masonic Lodge service held under auspices Masonic Lodge #609 AF & AM, Tavistock will be held at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 6:30pm.
