The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Golden Manor on March 17, 2009 at the age of 84 years. Camay is survived by her sister Georgette Bilodeau (O’nil) and Gerry Garant (Lucille) all of Timmins, and her sister-in-law Moreen Garant of Oshawa. She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews who loved her so much; Allan Garant (Loretta), David Garant, Brenda Garant, late Suzanne Charbonneau Kovak (John), Marc Charbonneau, Denis Bilodeau (Francine), Nicole Bilodeau-Pandolfi (Umberto), Danielle Bilodeau-Roy (Jim), Alain Bilodeau (Wendy) Greg Garant (Cathy) Denyse Garant-Gagnon (Pierre), Lesley Garant (Carrie) and their families. Also left to mourn are her niece in-law Leslie and many cousins. Camay was predeceased by her parents Léontine and Joseph Garant, her brother Paul, her sister Jeanne D’arc, her brother-in-law Lucien Charbonneau and recently her brother Gaston. Camay was the sole owner of Town Textiles on Pine Street in Timmins and Elma Sewing Center on the circle in Kapuskasing. She owned and operated successfully her business for 53 years. She will be missed by her many friends and customers who made her business a success for so long. She was also a lifetime member of the B.I.A. and Women’s Information Network.
