<p>Cheryl F. Russell, age 47, of Swansea, entered into rest at 6:08 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Belleville Memorial Hospital in Belleville. She was born October 18, 1963 in East St. Louis, Illinois, the daughter of the late Ralph and Juanita (Seidler) Griffin. She married Marty Russell December 22, 1980 in Belleville. He survives. Also surviving are 2 children: Amy (Timothy) Barfield and Jason Russell, both of Swansea; 4 grandchildren: Marty, James, and Kylie Barfield, and Jason Russell; a step-grandchild, Shelby Barfield; 4 brothers: Kenneth Griffin of Cahokia, William (Marlene) Griffin of Centreville, John Griffin of Wood River, and Ronald (Linda) Griffin of Edwardsville; and 3 sisters: Delores (Buddy) Carroll of Millstadt, Patricia (Spencer) Delin of Edwardsville, and Billie Jean Griffin of Edwardsville. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Russell loved gospel and country music, doing puzzles and spending time with her family and friends. A memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 2118 S. Morrison, Collinsville, Illinois. Memorials may be given to the family. </p>
