Lillian Berube

Lillian M. (Buck) Berube, 87, of Greenhaven Rd., Pawcatuck, died Oct. 12, 2010 in the Mystic Manor, Groton, CT. She was the widow of the late Daniel J. Berube Born in Westerly, she was a daughter of the late William and Edith (Brown) Buck Mrs. Berube had been employed as an assembler at Charbert’s until her retirement. She enjoyed playing the guitar and playing cards and loved country music. She leaves two sons Stephen W. Berube of Waterford, CT; Danny E. Berube of Pawcatuck; two brothers George Buck of Westerly and Roland Buck of Alabama; two sisters Tillie Pilmear of Westerly and Donna Church of Pawcatuck; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by a son Billy Berube; a daughter Susan Clark; five brothers Dennis, Kenny, Arthur, Charlie and Richard Buck; one sister Sandra Choquette; Grandson Derek Berube; and great-grandson Dakota Allen Berube. A calling hour will be held Friday from 11a.m. to 12 noon in the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly, RI. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service in the funeral home to begin at 12 noon. Burial will be in Stonington Cemetery, North Main St., Stonington, CT.
