Robert Marsh Obituary

Robert A. Marsh, visionary entrepreneur, philanthropist, and community servant, departed this life on April 2, 2016. This devoted father, son, brother and friend was a selfless provider, a generous employer, and as good a friend as anyone could have hoped for. He will be missed by family and friends who loved him, and by those for whom he worked tirelessly, and often anonymously, in pursuit of a rewarding life for all. Born in Conroe, Texas to Roy Marsh, Jr. and “Billie” Marsh, Robert honed his entrepreneurial skills working alongside his father and siblings in a series of successful ventures that included Beeper Boutique and Everyone’s Internet (EV1.net). At the time of his passing, the man once named Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year and the SBA’s Person of the Year was CEO of Digimagination, LLC whose holdings include the national online sign and banner company eSigns.com. Robert Marsh is mourned by his sons William, aged 13, Maxwell, aged 8, and Miles, aged 5, and their mother Sharon Michelle Marsh. He is survived by his siblings Louis Solomon, James Solomon, Debbie Reed, and Roy Marsh, III. An avid supporter of local charities, his causes included Citizens for Animal Protection and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, in addition to his work for Houston Children’s Charity. A celebration of Robert’s life will take place Monday, April 11th, at the Bayou City Event Center, 9401 Knight Road, Houston, 777045, from 5:30 until 8:30 PM. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Monday, April 11th at Rosewood Funeral Home, 2602 Old Humble Road, Humble, Texas 77396. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s memory to any of the charities named here.
