Robert Earl McReynolds, 72, of Calico Rock, Arkansas, passed away November 14, 2009 at Calico Rock Hospital. Private Family Inurnment at Gardner Cemetery on November 21, 2009. He married Leta Fay Rushing on December 18, 1978 in Miami, OK. They lived in Olathe. He was a school custodian for 32 years at Scarborough Elementary in Olathe. Robert moved to Arkansas a year ago. He loved his grandkids and going fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his wife Leta in 2008, his parents, daughter Ada Louise Carpenter and brothers Bill and Melvin. Robert is survived by children Linda Herman of Raymore, Mo, Jim Carpenter of Baldwin, KS, Judy Carpenter, Donna Strong, Terry McReynolds, Rodney Garland, and Cricket McReynolds, all of Gardner, and Les Carpenter of Spring Hill, KS; siblings Diana Holland and Brenda McReynolds both of Amarillo, TX, Robert McReynolds, Jr. of Fresno, CA, and Joyce Farmer of Calico Rock, AR; half siblings Tommy McReynolds of WV, Verna Lou Harolds and Evelyn of Wellington, KS; 22 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
