Teresa Lynn Birk went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 27, 2015 at the age of 62. The daughter of Paul Leroy and Peggy Geraldine (Byers) Laffoon, Teresa was born September 21, 1953 in Ada, Oklahoma. She married the love of her life, James Robert Birk and together shared more than 43 years of marriage and raising their two daughters. In addition to being a loving wife and devoted mother, Teresa worked as an office manager for an electrical contractor for many years. Her grandchildren were the center of her life. She followed each of them in their sports and other interests. Teresa traveled throughout the country watching her two daughters, Tori and Shelly, play softball from t-ball through college. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed the lake and loved to cook. Teresa also loved to ride motorcycles with her husband. Teresa will be deeply missed by all.


Teresa was preceded in death by her:
Father, Paul Laffoon;
Niece, Hope Laffoon;
And is now in the loving arms of her youngest daughter, Tori Lynn Birk Luke.

Mother, Peggy Laffoon of Tuttle, OK;
Husband of 43 years, Jim Birk and Basset Harley, both of the home;
Daughter, Shelly Holder and her husband, Greg, of OKC, OK;
Son-in-law, Jon Luke and his wife, Jenny, of Cedar Park, Texas;
Sister, Paula Jones and her husband, husband Gary, of Luther, OK;
Brother, Terry Laffoon and his wife, Debrah, of Tuttle, OK;
Grandchildren: Kaylen and Kyla Storts, Brittany and Levi Holder, all of OKC, Hunter Luke, Cole and Callie Kreuger, all of Cedar Park, Texas;
Many nieces and nephews.
