STEPHANIE GOTZ, 21, of HOWELL, died Tuesday, March 25, at home. Stephanie was born in Edison and had lived there before moving to Howell in 1995. She had a love for music and a talent for promoting new and up-and-coming performers such as the Jonas Brothers. Stephanie was a chiropractic assistant for Dr. Renay M. Friedman, Freehold for the past three years. She was predeceased by her mother, Karen, in 2003; and her Pop-Pop. Surviving are her parents, Thomas and Brenda Gotz of Howell; two brothers, Christopher Gotz and Kevin Gotz, both of Howell; her maternal grandmother, Carmella Strumolo of Lakewood; three uncles, Stephen Gotz of Florida, Robert Gotz of North Carolina, and Joseph Gotz of Edison; three aunts, Valerie Mauro of Middletown, Joni Merola of East Brunswick, and Debbie Corio of Howell; four stepbrothers, David Aparicio, Bobby Aparicio, Christopher Aparicio, and Nicholas Aparicio, all of Howell; and many cousins. Visiting hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Entombment to follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Stephanie's memory may be made to the Stephanie Gotz Scholarship Fund, benefiting her brothers' education, P.O. Box 6603, Freehold, NJ 07728.
