Jean Joan Cole age 81 passed away at home August 2, 2015. She was born January 19, 1932 in Manistee, the daughter of the late Henry and Amanda Kolk. She attended Manistee High School. She married Leslie Paul Cole who preceded her in death in 1986. Jean was a good homemaker. She worked for the Manistee Medical Care for 20 years before retiring. Survivors include sons; Allan (Terri) Cole, Leslie ”Skip” Cole, and Todd “Kabuki” Cole, daughters; Peg (Tom) Bachinski and Deanna Wolfe, brother Harry Kolk, Sr. and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers; Dean O. Kolk, Richard Kolk and Henry “Hank” Kolk, Jr. and three sisters; Erma Ringel, Mildred Senger and Penny Schudlich. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Manistee.
