Edwind Jansen

In Loving Memory of Edwind L. Jansen September 25, 1925 - July 5, 2015 Edwind Ludwig Jansen, 89, of West Caldwell, NJ, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 5, 2015 at Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge, NJ. Born and raised in Indonesia, Edwind lived briefly in Holland before moving his wife and 2 children to America under sponsorship by the Roseland Presbyterian Church, Roseland, NJ in 1962. Prior to his retirement in 1987, Edwind worked as a machinist for John C Nordt, Co., in Cedar Grove, NJ and Roanoke, VA, for over 20 years. Edwind is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Hendrika Jansen, his beloved children, daughter, Marlinda F. LeRoy, son, Edwin Jansen and his wife Catherine, his granddaughter, Jessica T. LeRoy, his grandson, Jonathan P. LeRoy and his wife Christine, and his great grandson, Thomas Jonathan LeRoy. A Memorial Service will be held at the Roseland Presbyterian Church on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations, in Edwind''s memory, may be made to the Roseland Presbyterian Church, 40 Freeman Street, Roseland, NJ 07068.
