Passed away unexpectedly at the Village of Winston Park, Kitchener, on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the age of 72.

Beloved husband and best friend of Gail. Loving father of Stephen and his wife Angela, Scott and his wife Diane (Giroux), Jennifer Heidinga and her husband Martin, and stepson, Bryan McIntosh and his wife Linda. Cherished grandfather of Claire, Chloe, Wyatt, and Cole. Remembered by brother, Glen Mitchell and his wife Vivian and stepmother, Helen Mitchell. Brian was very proud of all of his children.

Brian graduated from Queens University as a Professional Engineer, working at BF Goodrich, Epton, and Polycorp and co-owner of M&E. Brian loved his sports including pick-up hockey, handball, racquetball, camping, canoeing, and skiing. He loved to travel, especially to Mazatlan, Mexico.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Brian with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at the funeral home chapel on Sunday, January 19 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow in the Fireside Reception Room.
